This expansion frame by Delock can be pasted on a HDD / SSD hard drive to adjust the height. Thus, the disk can be adjusted so that it can be used for example in external enclosures or in alternating frames which require a different height. When changing frame, which require an overall height of 9.5 mm, the frame can be used together with an SSD with a height of 7 mm and so it is ensured that the SDD can be properly inserted into the guide of the removable frame. Otherwise, there may be problems with the mechanism of the removable frame.
