The Goobay patch cable SFTP is a fully Screened shielded twisted pair cable. With a Foliensch and copper braid shield is specifically protected from sources of interference from the outside.

The patch cable of Cat.8.1 goobay is for 25 / 40GBASE-T applications, with a transmission range of up to 30 meters and a transmission range of up to 2 GHz is used (four times the bandwidth of Cat. 6A). It is suitable for 25 / 40G Base-T Ethernet Networks (40-Gigabit Capable) and backward compatible. The novel Cat.8 RJ45 plug is made according to industry standard, with 50μ gold plated contacts (PINs). The shielded RJ-45 connectors are provided with latching lug and latch protection.
