Patch cable with 20 meters in length, suitable for connecting computers to a hub or switch within a 10/100/1000 Mbit Ethernet network (especially suitable for Gigabit Ethernet over copper), or for connecting a DSL modem to the computer. The cable has a shield Cat.6 and RJ-45 connector. S / FTP (screened foiled twisted pair) type with shielding of individual wire pairs of copper braid and additional shielding of the entire cable through metal mesh.

The patch cable of Cat.8.1 goobay is for 25 / 40GBASE-T applications, with a transmission range of up to 30 meters and a transmission range of up to 2 GHz is used (four times the bandwidth of Cat. 6A). It is suitable for 25 / 40G Base-T Ethernet Networks (40-Gigabit Capable) and backward compatible. The novel Cat.8 RJ45 plug is made according to industry standard, with 50μ gold plated contacts (PINs). The shielded RJ-45 connectors are provided with latching lug and latch protection.
